The demand for domain names has become so intense that seven new extensions will be released in the second quarter of 2001. The extensions, which are referred to as Top Level Domains, should help curb the shortage of available Web addresses.
While the new extensions may make it easier for you to find a domain name, the dot-com, dot-org and dot-net extensions will still be the most popular -- and they'll be the first extensions people think of when they're looking for a Web site. (In fact, we've noticed that reservations for the current extensions are increasing.)
