FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol. It is a standard protocol to move files from one machine to another without a physical connection between machines. When you use FTP to transfer a file, a copy of the file will be sent from your machine to the remote machine you are contacting. The file will remain on your local system and the copy will reside on the remote system. This guide will help you learn to use CuteFTP 4.0 to transfer your files from your local machine to a remote server. Please read the guide completely to gain an understanding of how CuteFTP works.
