Introduction and Installation of Dreamweaver

Macromedia Dreamweaver is a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor - you will see what your page looks like as you go along, instead of saving and refreshing every so often. This guide will help you to learn to use Macromedia to create web pages and to transfer your files from your local machine to a remote server. Please read the guide completely to gain an understanding of how Dreamweaver works

This guide will take you through the interface, basic functionality, and steps of getting Dreamweaver set up to transfer files from your local system to the BizLand servers. For greater in-depth coverage of each feature in Dreamweaver, we recommend viewing Macromedia's Dreamweaver Tutorial.

If you do not have Dreamweaver installed, you can download or purchase it from Macromedia.com. Once you have downloaded the installer to your desktop, double-click on it to install. Follow the installation wizard through the setup process.

Before you will be able to use the instructions provided, you will need to have an activated BizLand account. If you have not yet signed up for a free BizLand account, please go to BizLand.com and sign up today.
